Little flower fairy shaker card | All Dressed Up Stamps

Today I am sharing with you a little flower fairy shaker card with a digital stamp from All Dressed Up stamps. On 1 March, the Facebook group launched another new challenge. The theme this time is “embellish it”. For this challenge, I used the digital stamp “little flower fairy”. Beautiful stamp, I think.

For this card, I wanted to make a shaker card. I love shaker cards, and I hope you do too.

Measurements of the fairy shaker card

  • For the base of the card, I used a piece of white card stock measuring 21 centimetres by 15 centimetres.
  • 2 pieces of white card stock measuring 10,5 centimetres by 15 centimetres to make your frame and the panel at the back.
  • DCP paper to print your image on.

Digital stamp and colouring

I printed the image on DCP paper and coloured it with alcohol markers.

  • Skin: Tanned skin (260), Peachy blush (259), Salmon Pink (25) and Barely Beige (29).
  • Hair: Caramel (253), Clay (116), Chocolate (118) and Dark Wood (119).
  • Dress: Baby Boy (144), Sky Blue (76) and Midi Sky (190).
  • Flowers: Blue Grey Purple (158), Vivid Reddish Purple (86), Azalea Purple (87), Pastel Pink (17).
  • Leaves: Dark Green (51), Forest Green (50), Grass Green (47) and Yellow Green (48).

Making the background

For the background, I wanted to make clouds. I used my cloud stencil and my blue ink to make the background. I change the angle from the cloud stencil a bit every time I want to make new clouds in the background. This keep is a bit more interesting.

I stamped the “Thinking of you” sentiment with purple and pink ink. I applied the purple ink on the bottom of the sentiment and the pink ink on top of the sentiment.

Making the shaker card

To make the shaker, I use the white card stock measuring 10,5 centimetres by 15 centimetres. For the frame, I use my rectangle die and cut out the centre of the panel. I place the acetate behind the frame. Behind the frame, I put foam tape. I place my sequins on the background and stick my panel on it.

Assembling the card

I put my shaker on top of my base card. I place my image on top of the frame. I place my embellishments on the flowers. I have some flowers in my stash and want to place them in my top left corner. I die-cut some leaves out of white card stock. I colour them with my alcohol markers with the same colours I used for the other leaves.

And now the card is finished. I hope you like it. Let me know if you made this card too, I would love to see it.

  3. Ah, zo mooi deze!
Gewaagd om alleen een witte basis te gebruiken, maar ik mis het designpapier of kleur helemaal niet, geweldig!
