Next, insert the sentiment “A warm springtime hello and wishing you a happy Easter” from the Easter Greetings, Quotes, and Sentiments set. Position the sentiment on your document, taking into account where it will be placed on the card. Adjust its size and placement accordingly.
  • Print the Digital Stamp on DCP Paper, Along with the Sentiment: Print the resized digital stamp on DCP paper. This type of paper is ideal for colouring with alcohol markers, ensuring vibrant and crisp results.

Step 3: Crafting the Background Panel

To create a charming background panel for our Easter card, follow these steps:

  • Die-Cut the Panel: Use a double-stitched rectangle die to cut out a panel from cardstock. The size of the die should be 13.7cm by 9.7cm. This panel will serve as the backdrop for our delightful Easter scene.
  • Apply Green Ink for the Grass: Use your green ink pad to gently apply ink to the bottom portion of the panel, creating the lush grass. Leave the edges lighter to mimic the natural variations in grass colour, adding depth and realism to your scene.
  • Add Blue Ink for the Sky: Use your blue ink pad to add a soft blue hue to the middle portion of the panel, representing the clear Easter sky. Leave some white space near the sentiment area at the top of the panel to create contrast and draw attention to the sentiment.

Step 4: Assembling the Card

Let’s put together our Easter card by following these simple assembly steps:

  • Attach Foam Tape to the Background Panel: Start by attaching thin foam tape to the back of the background panel. This will give it a subtle dimension. Apply adhesive to the foam tape for positioning flexibility before pressing it firmly onto the card base.
  • Adhere to the Colored Digital Stamp: Use thicker foam tape to adhere the coloured digital stamp to the background panel. This will give extra dimension and make the digital stamp more noticeable. Make sure to align it properly so that the bottom of the stamp, with the Easter eggs and carrots, is on the lawn, while the top part is under the blue sky.

By following these simple steps, you will create a charming Easter card that is sure to surprise your loved ones.

Congratulations! Your Easter card is now complete and ready to be sent to family and friends. Enjoy sharing the warmth and happiness of the season with your personalized Easter masterpiece!
