Hello everyone!
It’s time for a new challenge at Penny’s Paper-Crafty challenge blog. Our theme is as always, “Anything goes using paper”. For this challenge, I made this Sttt…. it’s your birthday card.
I hope you will join us in the challenge. Our design team created some beautiful creations.
The sponsors of this challenge are:

Sheepski designs (note 2025: shop not available anymore)

For this challenge, I received an image from Sheepski Designs. I got to work with the digital stamp “Whisper (note 2025: not available anymore).
Now let’s get into this.
Measurements for this sttt…. it’s your birthday card.
- The base of the card measures 13 centimetres by 13 centimetres. To make the base of your card yourself, you will need a piece of cardstock measuring 13 centimetres by 26 centimeters. Score at the long side at 13 centimetres.
- A piece of pattern paper measuring 12,5 centimetres by 12,5 centimetres.
- A piece of DCP paper to print your digital image on.
- A piece of white cardstock to die-cut from.
Digital stamp and colouring with Twinmarkers
I printed my digital stamp on DCP paper. I printed the image 3 times, so that I can make some parts 3d. I colored my image with alcohol markers.

Die-cutting
I used some dies to make the frame of the card. First, I die-cut the flower shape. On top of that, I wanted to make a frame, so I die-cut a circle shape with two circle dies. I used foam tape to put the frame on top of the die-cut flower shape.
Giving the image some dimension.
I like it when an image has some dimension. So I cut out some parts of the image. I color them with my alcohol markers. I use foam tape to stick them on the image to give that part dimension.
I also cut some extra butterflies and an extra flower. I color them in the same colors as I used before. Now I can put an extra flower in the upper left corner and the small butterflies by the sentiment.
Assembling the card.
Now its time to assemble the card. I place my image in the circular frame. At the bottom of my frame, I place my sentiment surrounded with the two butterflies. On the Inside of the frame, I place my black letters.
On the base card, I stick my pattern paper. In the middle of the pattern paper, I place my frame with the digital image.

I hope you like it, and you will join our challenge. Go to the challenge blog Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge. Hope to see you there.
