Combine your digital stamp with die cuts to create a scene.
Hello everyone!
Wendy has released three fun digital stamps again this month. They are the following stamps:

I got to work with the “Spring Lamb” digital stamp. He is so cute. A perfect stamp to create a scene with. I decided to combine the digital stamp with dies I have. Using dies, you can create a beautiful scene without having to draw yourself.
So, let’s get into it.
Measurements
- For this card, I used a base card measuring 10,5 centimetres by 15 centimetres. To make the base yourself, you need a piece of white card stock measuring 21 centimetres by 15 centimetres. Score at the long side at 10,5 centimetres.
- A piece of white card stock measuring 10 centimetres by 14,5 centimetres.
- A piece of white card stock to die-cut a rectangle from.
- Scraps of white card stock to die-cut from.
Digital stamp and coloring with my Twinmarkers
I printed the image on DCP paper and colored it with my alcohol markers.

Making the background.
First, I die-cut a rectangle with my stitched rectangle die. On this, I want to make a cloud background. So, I grab my cloud stencil and my blue ink. Using a blending brush, I create the clouds on the background.
Die-cutting and coloring.
Now it’s time to die-cut. I used several different dies. I used my grass die to make the grass. I also used dies to make the trees and the flowers. Also for the fence, I die-cut two straight posts to complete the fence.
Now it’s time to colour the die-cuts. This can be done with ink, of course, but I decided to colour the small die-cuts with my alcohol markers.
- Tree: Caramel (253), Barn Red (245) and Natural Oak (91). For the leaves: Green Grass (47), Forest Green (50)
- Tulips: Pastel Lemon (39), Lemon Yellow (35) and Dark Yellow (31).
- Flowers: Light Denim Blue (193), Midi Sky (191) and Dark Yellow (31) for the middle of the flower.
I coloured the grass with my chalk ink. I used the colours:
- Green Belt (73).
- Green Beans (74).
- The Hulk (75).
I finished off the grass by splashing some green splashes of metallic paint on it.
Sentiment “Grab the sun and shine.
For the sentiment, I used my clear stamps. In Dutch, the sentiment means “Grab the sun and shine”. I really love this sentiment. I stamp this with black ink on my background panel. I coloured the sun with my alcohol markers using the same colors I used for the Tulips.
Assembling the Spring lamb card.
First, I finish the first layer for the card. You need your piece of white card stock measuring 10 centimetres by 14,5 centimetres. I want the colour of this paper to match my digital stamp. I used the colour Dark Indigo on my image and decided to colour the border of my paper with this colour. Now it matches my image. I glue this on my base card.
Now you need your background piece with the clouds. First, I stick my grass on this panel. I use foam tape for that. Behind the grass, I place my two trees. On the front, I stick my image onto the panel with foam tape. Now I can stick my flowers in places where I want them.

The card is finished. I hope you like it. Let me know in the comments and tell me what you think of the new images.
