Hello crafty friends!
Yesterday I got to work with these cute dog stamps I bought recently and made this cute slimline dog scene card. They are from Craftsensations, and you can buy them in the Action stores. I really felt like making a fun scene card with these stamps. The dog stamps are in the set, and I made the doghouse myself.
Let’s get into it.
Measurements
- Since I wanted to have 4 little dogs on the card, I opted for a slimline card. You need a piece of white card stock measuring 21 centimeters by 21 centimeters. Score at 10,5 centimeters and you have the base of your card.
- You need a piece of white card stock to die-cut your slimline piece from to make your background.
- White card stock to stamp on.
Coloring the dog stamps with my alcohol markers
I stamped the dogs with memento black ink. The ink is alcohol save ink. I drew the doghouse myself.
- Brown dogs: Hazelwood (108), Caramel (253), Clay (116), Chocolate (118) and Dark Wood (119).
- Grey/white dogs: Cool Grey 5 (CG5), Cool Grey 4 (CG4), Cool Grey 1 (CG1) and Colorless blender (0).
- Blue sweater: Dark Sky (191), Midi Sky (190), Sky Blue (76) and Baby Boy (144).
- Doghouse and scarf: Cardinal (244), English red (249) and Burgundy (247).
- Roof of the doghouse: Dark Wood (119), Chocolate (118) and Clay 116).

Making the background
I used a slimline die to die-cut a panel from white card stock. I put purple tape around the stitched edge, so no ink gets outside the stitched edge. First, I make my grass. I used a grass stencil for that and applied the grass with chalk ink. I used the colors, Spring walk, Green Beans and The Hulk.
Then I used my cloud stencil to create the clouds. I used the color bright eyes for that.
In the sky I wanted to stamp the word woof and the speaking balloon with the heart. I put the panel in my stamping tool. I decide where the stamp must go and stamp it with my memento black ink on the panel.
Assembling the slimline dog scene card
Firs, I glue the background panel on my card base. Then I glue down my doghouse en put the dog in the house with a bone. For the dogs around the house, I use foam tape to put them on the card.
And my card is finished.

Happy crafting !
