Shadow Box card with the digital stamp Toad Stall. A girl sitting against a mushroom surrounded by fall leaves.

Shadow box | All dressed up stamps

Today it is new release inspiration day over at All Dressed Up stamps. I used the image Toad Stall and I made this lovely shadow box card with it.

There are 3 new digital stamps designed by Wendy Burns. Let me show you the three new designs:

Aren’t these digital stamps cute? Let’s start making this card with the Toad Stall digital stamp.

Measurements

Rica’s Haven made a blog post explaining how to make a shadow box. There, the dimensions are described exactly. If you also want to make such a cute shadow box, just click on the link above.

Colouring the digital stamp Toad Stall

I printed the digital stamp on DCP paper. And now it’s time to colour it.

Die-cutting the different elements for this shadow box

These are the dies I used. Quite a lot of die-cutting had to be done. I put the brands and any links to the products in the list at the bottom of the text. I die-cut the mushrooms and leaves out of white paper. Then I coloured them with my alcohol markers. You can find the colours I used in the paragraph above. I die-cut the branches out of designer paper. This is the same designer paper I used on the front of the shadow box.

Creating the clouds and grass with stencils

For the background, I made clouds with this stencil. I applied this on a piece of white card stock measuring 9 x 9 centimetres. This will fit exactly in the middle of the shadowbox. I used my memento ink for this.

I wanted the girl to sit in the grass. So I grabbed my grass stencil to make some grass. I made it to pieces. One to cover the front. And one in the middle of the shadowbox.

Decorating the card

I still had some designer paper lying around with a tree texture on it. I placed these on the front of the shadow box. I die-cut the branches from the same paper.

And now it’s time to put it all together. I placed everything in place until I was satisfied.

Hope you like the card. Check also my other design team members to see what they have made. You can find them on the Facebook page or the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog.
