Looking good CAS card| All Dressed Up Stamps

Hello everyone!

I am currently a little less active making cards and posting on my blog. My mother is unfortunately seriously ill and in hospital. That’s where my full attention is at the moment. As a distraction, I definitely do try to make cards and post them here. But it might be a bit less than you are used to from me.

This card I wanted to be clean and simple. I wanted the image to shine. This card is made for the new release from All Dressed Up Stamps. Wendy made 3 new digital stamps.

I got to work with the digital stamp Looking good.

Now let’s get into it.

Measurements

  • My base card is 10,5 centimeters by 15 centimeters. You need a piece of card stock measuring 21 centimeters by 15 centimeters. Score at the long side at 10,5 centimeters.
  • A piece of pattern paper measuring 10 centimeters by 14,5 centimeters.
  • DCP paper to print your image on.

Digital stamp and coloring

I printed my image on DCP paper and colored it with my alcohol markers.

  • Skin: Peachy Blush (259), Salmon Pink (25), Barely Beige (29).
  • Clothes: Blue Teal (184), Cool Mint (181), Cool shadow (178) and a pink gel pen to make the stripes.
  • Hair: Clay (116), Walnut 100). Rose Beige (97) and Hazelwood (108).
  • Bag: Vived Reddish Purple (86), Fluor Coral Red (121), Pale pink (09) and Pastel Pink (17).

Assembling the card

I wanted to keep the card very simple so that the attention goes to the girl. First, I die-cut the digital stamp with a rectangle stitched die. I stick this onto a piece of patterned paper. This I glue back onto my base card. I add some pearls in the corners and the card is ready.

Hope you like it! And make sure you check out these new stamps.
