Measurements

I used a tutorial on Rica Haven’s site. She has described exactly how you can do the basics for a shadow box card.

Colouring of the digital stamp Look at Me from All Dressed Up Stamps

For this card, I used the digital stamp ” Look at me “. Such a fun stamp to work with.

Unfortunately, I did not write down all the colours that I used. What I remember I will mention here.

  • Shirt, flowers and butterfly: Dark Yellow (31), Lemon yellow (35) and Pastel Lemom (39)
  • Pants: Dark Sky (191), Midi Sky (190) and Sweet Dreams (272)
  • Tree: Dark wood (119), chocolate (118) and Clay (116)
  • Leaves: Forest green (50), Grass green (47) and weeds green (162)

Stamping

To give a little extra to the front of the shadow box, I stamped two more flowers and the butterflies from the upper stamps. I stamped the images with the memento black ink.

Die-cutting

I used the top two dies to make the frame around the square. This fits exactly and gives the card a little something extra.

Stencils

For the background, I used the top stencils again. I used both cloud stencils and applied Nautical blue ink to the card. And with the colour Bamboo Leaves from Memento, I applied grass.
