Today I share with you a fun fold card. I love to make this kind of cards. So my resolution for the new year is to make this more often. I made this card based on a tutorial by Lisa Curcio on YouTube. You can find the tutorial here.
Design paper.
To make this card I used a Paper block from Craftsensations. Its a Christmas paper block with beautiful papers.

When I saw this tutorial, I immediately had in my mind to use this paper block.
The cutting dimensions I changed from the tutorial.
You can download the project sheet from Lisa Curcio here.
Changes in the card cutting dimensions .
In the card dimensions, she has listed the dimensions for the design paper. This is 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches. I used these dimensions for my gold paper. The first layer. The designer paper comes on top of the gold layer. My size for the design paper is 5 inches by 3 3/4 inches. This are the measurements for the front of the card and the inside.
Changes in the Pop-Up Book cutting dimensions
In the Pop Up Book cutting dimensions, she has also listed the dimensions for the design paper. In this part I made also small changes. Her dimensions for the design paper are 2 1/2 inches by 4 3/4 inches. I used these measurements for my gold paper. On my design paper stands a glass with champagne. I cut the paper with the glass of champagne so that the glass is visible. It comes down to a measurement of 2 1/4 inches by 4 5/8 inches.
Making the belly band
For the belly band I stamped an ornament to put on the belly band. I stamped the ornament with sticky embossing ink on the same patterned paper I put on the front of the card. I heat embossed it with golden embossing powder.
The belly band I made with golden glitter paper. When I have put that together I can put the Ornament on top of that.

The sentiment
The sentiment on the front of the card I also stamped with the sticky embossing ink. I heat embossed it with the same golden embossing powder.
The sentiment on the inside of the card on the Pop-Up Book comes from a Christmas paper block. There are different sentiments on vellum. I found the sentiment “cheers to New Year”, what’s a perfect match with the card.

I hope you like this card. It also a perfect card the use your designer’s paper. I have a lot of them, and most of the time I don’t use them. So I want to use this papers more often, and make these kind of cards. Do you like fun folds too? Let me know.
