Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing with you my Design team inspiration card for All Dressed Up Stamps. I made this card for the new challenge on their Facebook group. This month’s theme is to make a Flower Power card. I used the image “Flower Market (noted sept 2025: not available anymore)
I combined my digital stamp with dies from my stash. I have a tip on for you how to colour these little dies. So, let’s get into it.
Measurements
- My base card measures 13 centimetres by 13 centimetres. To make this base card, you will need a piece of white card stock measuring 13 centimetres by 26 centimetres. Score at the long side at 13 centimetres.
- You need a piece of white card stock measuring 12,5 centimetres by 12,5 centimetres.
- A piece of white card stock measuring 12 centimetres by 12 centimetres.
- DCP paper to print your image on.
- Pieces of white scraps to die-cut from.

Creating a Brick wall background and die-cut grass
For the background, I wanted to create a brick wall. For that, I used my embossing folder. I ran that through my die-cutting and embossing machine. And now I have this beautiful brick wall on the background.
I wanted to place the flower marked in the grass. I die-cut strips of grass from my white card stock. I coloured them with my chalk ink.
I used the following colours:
- The Hulk
- Bottle Green
- Green Belt
- Green Beans.
Die-cutting
For the tree and the flowers on the tree, I did a bunch of die-cutting. First, I die-cut the tree out of white card stock. Then the branches. I die-cut a bunch of leaves and flowers out of white card stock. I want to colour the little die-cuts with my alcohol markers.
TIP: To colour the little die-cuts I place them back in the paper where I die-cut them from. Then it’s a lot easier to colour them because they don’t move around.
Assembling the flower power card
First, I take my white card stock measuring 12,5 centimetres by 12,5 centimetres. I colour the edge of the paper with my alcohol marker. I want the paper to match the scene, so I colour the edge with my alcohol marker natural oak. On top of that, I place my background paper. I place this on my base card.
Now I can place my grass on top of the brick wallpaper. The first strip of grass I place directly onto the paper. On the second strip of grass, I place foam tape. I place the tree between the two Layers of grass.
Now I can place my flower market. On top of the market, I place foam tape and on the bottom, I put some sticky glue.
At last, I place all of my little leaves and flowers on the tree and branches.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. Hope you like this card. Let me know how you colour your little die-cuts.
