Fairy card | Colours of Love

Hello everyone!

It’s time for a new challenge on the Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge blog. As always, the theme is “anything goes with paper”. I made this Fairy card for this new challenge.

I got to work with a digital stamp Zoey’s Moonflowers from Colours of love. I really enjoyed coloring her in.

Let’s get into it.

I made the size of the base card depend on the size of the picture.

• I printed the image on DCP paper measuring 9,5 centimeters by 12,5 centimeters.
• Black card stock measuring 10 centimeters by 12,7 centimeters.
• Coral paper measuring 10,5 centimeters by 13,3 centimeters.
• Piece of white card stock measuring 28 centimeters by 11 centimeters. Score at the long side at 14 centimeters.

I printed the image on DCP paper and colored it with my alcohol markers.

• Leaves: Deep Green (52), Forest Green (50), Grass Green (47) and Yellow Green (48).
• Flowers, Wings and shoes: Cardinal (244), Coral Pink (16), Warm Coral (208) and Neon Coral (128).
• Inside flowers: Melon Yellow (33), Lemon Yellow (35) and Pastel Lemon (39).
• Skin: Peachy Blush (259), Salmon Pink (25) and Barely Beige (29).
• Inside of the wing: Melon Yellow (33) and Lemon Yellow (35).

I die-cut the sentiment out of silver and black paper. I wanted a little black shadow behind the silver. So, don’t stick the words exactly on top of each other but stick the silver word slightly down so that you get a black border around the silver.

Stick the coral paper on top of the base card. Stick the digital stamp on the black paper and then on the base card.

I place the sentiment underneath the elf. On the dots on the background, I place 3d glitter drops.
