Hi, crafty friends.
I’m back with a Christmas card I created with the Luxe Christmas Paper block from Decotimecrafts. I love these blocks. You can create a lot of cards with it. In these blocks are beautiful patterned paper, die cuts and vellum with sentiments on it.
Now let us talk about this card.
Measurements from this Christmas card
- For the card base, I used craft paper measuring 21 centimetres by 15 centimetres. On the 21 centimetre site, you score at 10,5 centimetre.
- White card stock to die-cut a frame from.
The background
I have collected quite a few paper blocks with the Christmas theme over the past few years. So, I allowed myself not to buy too many this year. (Didn’t quite work out). But for this background, I used a paper block that I have had for some years. With these trees in the background, I thought this was the perfect paper for my scene.

There are lots of beautiful papers in this block, so I want to use them more this year.
Die-cutting the frame

I wanted to use this die to create the frame. It is not a frame die, because he doesnโt cut the middle part. Unfortunately, I didnโt have a rectangle die that fits the inside, so I cut the middle part out with my scissors. There is a stitched border, and I cut over this stitched area.
I stuck the frame to the background paper with foam tape.
Using the die-cuts from the paperblock

This is the paper block I used. This block contains many die-cuts with houses and shops. I wanted to make a card with that. I place the two shops behind the frame and a Christmas tree behind the shops. I put the car in the front. In the block, there are flags with the text merry & bright and I put them at the top.

Hope you like this card, and I will see you next time.
