Last Minute Manda

I got to work with a digital stamp from the Berry Sweet Gnomes set by Last Minute Manda.

Let’s get into it.

Measurements from this Berry Sweet card.

  • The base of the card measures 10,5 centimeters by 15 centimeters. To make the base yourself, you will need a piece of white card stock measuring 21 centimeters by 15 centimeters. Score at the long side at 10,5 centimeters.
  • A piece of white card stock to die-cut a rectangle from.
  • A piece of patterned paper that fits behind the frame.
  • DCP paper to print the image on.
  • White card stock to die-cut the letters.

Digital stamp and coloring with Twinmarkers.

I printed the image on DCP paper and colored it with my alcohol markers.

  • Nose and hands: Peachy blush (257), Salmon Pink (25), Barely Beige (29).
  • Beard and flowers: Cool Grey 5 (CG5), Cool Grey 4 (CG4), Cool Grey 1 (CG1).
  • Inside of the flowers: Pastel lemon (35), Lemon Yellow (39), Dark Yellow (31).
  • Leaves: Weeds Green (162), Grass Green (47) and Forest Green (50).
  • Strawberry’s: Coral Pink (16), Cardinal (244), English Red (249) and Burgundy (247).
  • Red stripes on the hat: Burgundy (247), English Red (249) and Cardinal (244).
  • White stripes on the hat: Cool Grey 5 (CG5), English Red (249) and Cardinal (244).

Die-cutting

To make this card, I also had to die-cut several parts.

First, the frame. I took a stitched rectangle die and die-cut it out of white paper. I have another border die lying around and I used it to die-cut the edges on the inside.

For the sentiment I had to die-cut several letters. First, I die-cut the big letters. I die-cut each letter 5 times to give it dimension. I colored the letter on top with my alcohol markers in the same colors as the red in the hat. I wanted to give them some shine , so I added Paper Glaze over them.

Finally, I die-cut the small letters to make the word berry.

Assembling the card.

First, I glue my frame on top of the pattern paper. I then can stick that on top op my base card. I attach the image with foam tape at the bottom of the frame. Then I glue the letters in place, and the card is finished.

At last, I use my white gel pen to give some area’s white highlights.

Finished card with the Berry Sweet Gnome digital stamp from Last Minute Manda. Its a gnome with two strawberries in front of him.
